Among critters is a terrestrial fabulation about the fermentation
practice with SCOBY. During the ritual yeasts, bacteria and humans meet
on a mutual level, living and thriving in symbiotic balance. The needs
of SCOBY define the ones of humans. Interspecies empathy and a
consciousness about the endless entanglements of all entities on the
planet result from the encounters. Among critters exists within the long
tradition of fermentation practices, it distances itself from motives
and ideas of commercial kombucha productions.
